Grand Opening February 9, 2023


Everyone is welcome: delicious meals prepared by licensed food experts are provided to all participants.


On Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm, Hi-Tech Charities, a 501(c)(3) multi- state nonprofit community development corporation, will celebrate the expansion of its behavioral health and primary care services and the acquisition of its new Integrated Mobile Clinic with a Grand Opening, Health Fair, and Job Fair. Hi-Tech Charities is also celebrating its new 12-Seater Dodge Ram Van, which will provide free transportation services to and from the facility to ensure access to care for residents of the metro St. Louis area.


The newly expanded facility sits in one of St. Louis’ Expanded Enterprise Zones, at 5920 Dr. Martin Luther King Dr., in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood. It houses a community-based behavioral health clinic that assists individuals with their mental health, substance use recovery, home care, and primary care needs. The facility will serve as a hub in service to an estimated 2000 residents, school children, and families per year across all programs, advancing Hi- Tech Charities’ mission to serve urban and rural communities, providing healthcare, employment training, housing assistance, social services, and various community economic development programs that keep healthy as well as empower individuals, families, businesses, and communities. In addition, the expanded facility will serve as a beacon of hope and resource for individuals and families.


Hi-Tech Charities started in 1998 as a grassroots community education enrichment program in the same Hamilton Heights neighborhood at St. Augustine Catholic Church. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Hi-Tech Charities secured funding to provide primary care, behavioral health, and substance recovery services both in Metro St. Louis Area, and rural Missouri Counties of Jefferson, St. Francios, Ste. Genevieve, and Washingtonwith our rural office in City of Irondale, Washington County, Missouri.Hi-Tech Charities also responded to the call for in-person school-based mental health services in varied school districts and charter schools across St. Louis. Additionally, Hi-Tech Charities supported widespread vaccination education programs and preventive care services by allocating funding received to cover benefits for uninsured individuals through its integrated care partnerships. Finally, Hi-Tech Charities has partnered with other local service organizations to provide kits for personal care to unhoused citizens and the homeless.


The Grand Opening on Thursday, February 9, 2023, from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm will include food trucks and paid vouchers for those participating in complimentary health and wellness screenings, a facility tour, an opportunity to meet the behavioral health staff, and register for services, job opportunities, and an introduction to the Integrated Mobile Clinic.
